RE: /search
Don't know if this is intended or not, but after /searching a location, the text turns to "Looted", but if you leave the area for a few seconds and go back. It turns back to /search. I have not yet found any new items after the second /search.

RE: /search
The search areas are re-enabled quickly at the moment (roughly 15 seconds) which is for testing reasons to help speed up progression as if playing longer hours.
The rate at which items are findable might be a bit low and need tweaking. I don't have enough user feedback data to understand whether the rate at which items can be found needs to be increased or not.
I have pinned this thread so a discussion can be had on the success rates of searching.

RE: /search
The success rate seems fine to me.

RE: /search
I think the success rate is fine as it is, assuming that we are getting more places to search in the future.
RE: /search
Seems fine to me at the moment, sometimes I don't get anything for 5 or 6 searches but that would seem pretty normal considering the circumstances.

Re: RE: /search
I might increase the timer that resets the search node in the next patch. I only set it to 15 seconds for the testing phase, but I feel like the system is working as intended now and there are over 1000 nodes in the server currently as of tonight's patch.
What sort of timing should it be though? 5 minutes per node? 10 miutes? What do you all think? What ever people think, it needs to be long enough that people keep moving around (unless they want to bunker down at a location) but not too long that only a small percentage of players ever get to scavenge in busier times.

Re: RE: /search
I've done /search a bunch of times and I've noticed that instead of failing a search and finding nothing, I find 0 of an item. I am not sure if this is intended or not. I got 0 fuel cans if i'm not mistaken. Although on other attempts to /search I did receive different quantities of things 3 scrap, 4 scrap, 14 scrap, 142 monies.

Re: RE: /search
I spotted that yesterday and thought I had resolved it... I will have another look today in case I missed something else.AMorretti wrote: May 16th, 2025, 1:29 am I've done /search a bunch of times and I've noticed that instead of failing a search and finding nothing, I find 0 of an item. EDIT: I think I found the issue. Should be resolved in the next patch.
