It would be interesting if players can only find higher level protective gear if they venture into disease zones 2-3 levels higher than their current protection.

I suspect it may be down to what data is saved when a client crashes. The player's virtual world, interior and sometimes coordinates may not save if the client crashes out. To remedy this I will add a function to force a location save upon entering and exiting interiors. This means if a player ...

Maybe the leveling system can be manual in the sense that a Admin has to level you up once you achieve a certain criteria. Also the player score should be capped at max level, whatever that level is.

There is a theoretical level cap of 99 at the moment as that's all the EXP logic I have done ...

I have just restarted the server which patches the following exploits:
  • Can no longer enter a value less than 1 when giving another player an item (meaning you could remove items from another's inventory)
  • Can no longer enter a value less than 1 when dropping items (causing duplication of items)

I think the resolution for this is to "respawn" the vehicle when any panel fixes are made to the vehicle. Extra checks so the player doesn't waste scrap probably isn't a bad idea either.

I've done /search a bunch of times and I've noticed that instead of failing a search and finding nothing, I find 0 of an item. I am not sure if this is intended or not. I might increase the timer that resets the search node in the next patch. I only set it to 15 seconds for the testing phase, but I feel like the system is working as intended now and there are over 1000 nodes in the server currently as of tonight's patch.

What sort of timing should it be though? 5 ...
